Ailene W. Mulhern

Age 86, of Vandalia, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, December 12, 2022. She is survived by one son, Floyd Thurman & his wife, Kim; three grandchildren, Danny Borchers (Lisa), Becky Thurman-Tucker (Ronnie) and Jason Thurman; seven great grandchildren, Cody Borchers, Cayden Borchers, Makayla Thurman, Gracie Thurman, Dakota Thurman, Colton Thurman & Jaxson Thurman; one great great grandchild, Aubrey Borchers with another great great grandson due to be born in February; and by one brother, Floyd Duncan (Donna). Ailene was a life-time member of the VFW Post # 9582 in Vandalia and she retired from General Motors – Inland Division. Ailene’s body will be cremated and at a later date her remains will be interred with her husband, Andrew Mulhern, at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
