Antoinette “Toni” Cooper

Age 77, of Vandalia, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, September 1, 2023. Toni was born July 16, 1946 in Dayton to the late Oscar Harold & Sarah (Etzler) Adam. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Cooper, in 2017; her granddaughter, Allie Fowler; and by one sister, Diane Murray.

Toni retired as an LPN having worked at Good Samaritan Hospital, Northwest Pediatrics and various nursing homes in the Dayton area. Later she went on to work at the Vandalia Kroger Deli (she was one of the friendly ones) & Floral departments. Toni was an avid gardener and loved spending time with her family. She was also passionate about animal rescue and cared for dozens of animals over her lifetime.

Toni is survived by two daughters, Sarah Bramlage & her husband, Joe and Teresa Fowler & her husband, Jason; three grandchildren, Jessica & her husband, Jordan, Keegan & Bodhi; and by one great granddaughter, Braelynn.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in Toni’s memory to either St. Jude Hospital or the Humane Society.
