Shirley Hanauer Obituary

HANAUER, Shirley A., age 84 of Arcanum, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Brookdale Centennial Park in Englewood, Ohio.  Shirley was born July 28, 1935 in Somerset, Kentucky.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John; her parents, Al and Jessie (Mullins-Harper) Roller; and 2 siblings, Patty Chavez and David Harper.  Shirley is survived by her daughter, Loren Napier (Tony) of Englewood; grandchildren, Jacob and Leah and great-grandchildren, Bella, Journey and Sunny; sister-in-law, Jo Harper; sister-in-law, Judy Anderson; brother-in-law, Steve Hanauer; nieces, Haley and Brooke; nephew, Kevin and special cousin, Cheri, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm, Friday, October 11 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Mr. John Seagraves officiating.  Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 pm until time of service.   In memory of Shirley, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 31 W.
