Robert C. Worley

Age 90, of Englewood, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at Brookdale of Englewood. He was born October 1, 1929 in Murphy, N. C. to the late Ezra & Bessie (Graves) Worley. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two siblings, Ralph Worley and Thelma Messer.

Robert was a veteran of the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from Hobart Corp. in Troy and then went on to volunteer at Good Samaritan Hospital for 21 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of the past 65 years, Lucinda (Philpot) Worley.

The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Friday; January 17, 2020, at the Vandalia Baptist Temple, 724 Helke Road, Vandalia, Ohio 45377. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Rick Washburn officiating. Burial will be at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens in Brookville.
