Robert E. Matejovsky

Age 91, of Vandalia, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2019, at The Hospice of Dayton. He was born April 20, 1928 in Dayton to the late Edward & Ona (Witt) Matejovsky.

Robert graduated from Fairview High School. He served in the U. S. Army and was a member of the American Legion Post # 668. In 1946 he established Perfect Cleaners on Babbit Street and he was a real estate developer.

Robert is survived by four children, Julie See & her husband, Jack, Michael Matejovsky & his wife, Pamela, John Matejovsky and Mark Matejovsky & his wife, Susan; six grandchildren, Taylour (Chris), Pierson, Jackson, Alexis (Grant), Madeline & Jylianne; and by two great grandchildren, Harper & Sloane.

The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 9, at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. with interment (with military honors) following at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Robert to either The Hospice of Dayton or the Humane Society.
