Age 64, of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly on July 5, 2019 at his home. Mark was born October 22, 1954 in Massillon, Ohio to the late Lester Edward & Shirley Jean (Broski) Geis. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Brian & Bruce Jarrett.

Mark was employed as a Civil Engineer at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base for over 30 years. He was an avid tennis player and Blue Jackets fan and he enjoyed gardening.

He is survived by two children, Jacob W. Geis (Jessica) & Claire Geis; his step-mother, Emma Geis; the mother of his children, Lisa Pinnell; and by siblings, Michael Jarrett (Michelle), Burt Jarrett (Kay), Brent Jarrett (Brenda), Wendy Jarrett & Jenny Jarrett.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
